Mohammed Elrazzaz

Mohammed Elrazzaz (Cairo, 1976) is Head of Sector for Regioal Integration at the Secretariat

of the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) which he joined back in 2013. In parallel, he is

Professor of Mediterranean Heritage, Arts and Culture at the International University of

Catalonia in Barcelona (UIC) since 2015.

He published four books including one titled “The Mediterranean: A Shared Heritage”, wich

was published by the Euro-Mediterranean University (EMUNI, Slovenia) in 2018. Elrazzaz is

a frequent collaborator with several think tanks, universities and cultural centers in the

Mediterranean Region in his capacity as researcher, writer, tutor and speaker.
